MHS & CIS partnership
On campus since 2016, the Communities In Schools of
Houston Wellness Program at Memorial High School
provides counseling services to meet the social and emotional needs of Mustang students and their families.
The MHS Wellness Program is privately funded. The cost to have this vital program on campus is $165,000 per year.
100% of your donation goes to its funding.
THANK YOU for your support and your donation!

If school or life has got you like...anxious, sad, mad, confused, whatever -- come see us! We are here for you. For your wellness. For your happiness. Tomorrow is another day and another chance to take control of where you're headed and to be happy.
That's all we want for each and every Mustang.
Please stop by the Wellness Suite any time --
M205 in the new building!
* It's important to note that the Wellness Counselors do not diagnose conditions of any sort. As licensed social workers, they are on campus to listen and offer support. If they feel a student or parent would be better served with a particular type of support that is outside of their scope or is in need of a diagnosis -- they access the vast and varied Communities In Schools resource partnership network to connect students and parents to someone who can diagnose, provide the best care and/or step in the right direction.
Now that Memorial has Wellness Counselors on campus, I can't imagine Memorial without them. They do so much for us.
They helped me out and gave me the biggest hug... emotionally. For the first time, I felt like I was worth it.
Being a part of the girls lunch group has given me confidence and I'm so happy to have met new people.
Before the Wellness Counselors were here, school was pretty miserable for me. I am so glad I have people who listen to me and validate me.
